Norsworthy honored by Commission
A surprise reception was held for Edna Ruth Norsworthy on March 9 as she was honored with a resolution signed by the Crenshaw County Commission for all of her years of service to the P.A.L.S. Program (People Against A Littered State). Norsworthy retired as chairman of the county’s committee in Jan. 2009, and she has played a vital role in the program since 1992.
Saturday, April 18, 2009, has been designated as “Crenshaw County Clean-up Day” and will be recorded as such in her honor.
