The public is invited to participate in the inaugural “Scale Back Celebration 2K Run/Walk” on Saturday morning, May 2, in Greenville.

The run/walk was originally scheduled for March 14 but was postponed due to weather.

The run, sponsored by Pioneer Electric Cooperative and The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce is being organized to energize those who have worked since the beginning of the year to lose weight and get healthy in the statewide Scale Back Alabama weight loss competition.
