Two suspects are still on the loose after robbing the Shell Station in Highland Home last Thursday evening.
According to Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Investigator Heath Truman, two black males entered the station around 8 p.m. on March 12. One of them was carrying a .45 caliber handgun.
The two suspects handcuffed the employee at the front desk, and a potato chip distributor who was in the back of the store at the time of the robbery was forced to the ground.
One of the suspects was described as wearing a black T-shirt with red shorts, and the other wore a black long-sleeve sweatshirt and long pants. Both men wore stockings over their faces.
The subjects reportedly fled the scene on foot heading northbound.
Several deputies from the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
