South Luverne Baptist Church will host the third annual women’s conference sponsored by Crenshaw County Women for Christ on Saturday, March 21, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The conference theme this year is “Persevere” based on Paul’s writings in Philippians. Lauren Kitchens from Tupelo, Mississippi, will be the guest speaker. She is a television and radio personality, motivational speaker, college professor and professional musician. Lauren has a passion to help people grasp their worth in Christ so they can accomplish their life calling with humility, victory and a lot of laughter.

Praise and worship in song will be led by Laura Aaron, a gifted musician and minister of music. “We wish you would join us for this special day of worship, inspiration and challenge as we strive to remember ‘…one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus,’ Philippians 3:13-14,” Ann Tate, CCWC member, said.
