LEVI THOMAS LEONARD

Leonard, Master Levi Thomas, 4 months, a resident of Honoraville died suddenly Thursday, February 12, 2009. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Leverette officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Levi is survived by his parents, Marty and Carri Gaskins Leonard; one sister, Alyssa Nicole Leonard; one brother, Martin Lane Leonard; grandparents, Tommy Gaskins and Connie Barrentine and Jim and Kathy Leonard; great- grandmothers, Margie Dent and Louise Gaskins; and numerious aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Erma Lois Jones Mills, age 98, died in Luverne, Monday, February 16, 2009. Mrs. Mills taught school in Crenshaw County for five years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from the Campground United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken Jackson, Reverend Cliff Cobb and Reverend Ronnie Floyd officiating. Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.

Visitation was held, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There was a one- hour lie in repose prior to the services at the church.

Survivors include, daughter, Sue Rhodes of Goshen, grandchildren, Susan (Jim) Tranum of Luverne, Cindy (Ken) Jackson of Luverne, Stevie (Leisha) Carr, Luverne, Sandra Carr of Montgomery, step- grandchildren, Kevin Rhodes, Lee Rhodes, Jerry Rhodes, all of Still Cross Roads, 7 great- grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brother, Paul Mitchell (Verbie) Jones of Luverne.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband Edward Mills and her parents, Frank and Alice Jones.

Serving as pallbearers were Leon Jones, Butch Mills, Drew Tranum, Stevie Carr, Jim Tranum, and Keith Mills. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Campground United Methodist church or to your favorite charity.

LIVEE CLAIRE SANDERS

Livee Claire Sanders, infant daughter of Will and Linsey Sanders, died in Birmingham. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. She is survived by her parents Will and Linsey Sanders of Troy, grandparents Jon and Gina Folmar, George and Chris Gilmore, Bart and Shelby Sanders and Maria Sanders; great- grandparents, Anna Folmar, George Gilmore Jr., Marion Sanderlin, and Olene Sanders, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

KATHLEEN S. HEARTSILL

HEARTSILL, Mrs. Kathleen S., 78, a resident of Ft. Deposit, Ala., died Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Bethel Baptist Church in Ft. Deposit with Rev. Eric Jackson officiating and Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing. Interment will follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Heartsill is survived by her husband, Zollie Heartsill, Ft. Deposit, children, Ren (Leta) Heartsill, Ft. Deposit, Wanda (Bruce) McCarty, Ft. Deposit, Darrell (Cathy) Heartsill, Ft. Deposit, Charles (Janet) Heartsill, Ft. Deposit, Tim Heartsill, Ft. Deposit, three grandchildren, Emily Heartsill, Matthew Heartsill and Jenna Heartsill.

Visitation will be at Harrison Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
