Boxed lunches from Safe Harbor set for February 12

It’s almost that time again – time for a boxed lunch from Safe Harbor, that is. The ever-popular lunches are set for delivery on Thursday, February 12, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
As always, the boxed lunches will feature a generous portion of the famed “Chicken Shack” chicken salad, congealed salad, a freshly baked yeast roll, delicious dessert, napkin, cutlery, bag of chips and a minty toothpick – all for just $6.
All proceeds will go to Safe Harbor, the Butler County Children’s Advocacy Center, Inc., which serves children and their families who have been victims of abuse and crime.
“We appreciate all those who support our boxed lunches each holiday. And we want people to know we welcome any size donation at any time,” said Sara Jean Atkins of Safe Harbor.
“Please know it is all for a very worthy cause.”
Pickup is also available at the Butler County Fairgrounds. Questions? Call Kathy or Sara Jean at 382-8584 or 406-6404. Deadline to order is Monday, February 9.
