Two Pike County men have been arrested stemming from a search warrant that turned up approximately 70 marijuana plants that were being grown inside one Glenwood residence.
On Monday, the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy Elmore and Jason Walker on the marijuana possessions. The arrests come from a Nov. 17 search by the CCSO at a King Street home in Glenwood.
Inside the home, investigators found 70 marijuana plants, which were seized, along with one handgun and other drug paraphernalia. The home was filled with flood lights and portable heaters that were set up to ensure the growth of the plants.
Officers who conducted the search were Investigators Ronnie White and Heath Truman, and Deputies Jeremy Walker and Mason Adcock.
Neither Jeremy Elmore nor Jason Walker could be located at the time the search warrant was executed.
