Lady Tigers down HHS, fall to Bullock County Lady Hornets

The Lady Hornets of Bullock County proved to be too much for the Luverne Lady Tigers last Thursday night as they walked away with a 51-35 win over Luverne.

Erika Chambers finally got the Lady Tigers on the board with a free throw with just over 3 minutes left in the first quarter. By the beginning of the second quarter, LHS had added only six more points as the Lady Hornets led 15-7.

Luverne kept fighting to keep up with BC, but they went into the locker room trailing 27-17.

During the third quarter, the Lady Tigers had only managed to add five more points to the score as Bullock County led 38-23. Bullock County, literally, took the ball and ran with it as they pulled out a 51-35 victory.

Asha Rogers led the Lady Tigers with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Luverne downs HHS

The Luverne Lady Tigers caused the Highland Home Lady Squadron to crash and burn on Dec. 2 as they came away with a big 51-29 win.

Lakedria Hall led LHS with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and TeAndrea Burnett added 11 points and 10 assists.

Enterprise defeats LHS The Luverne Lady Tigers lost to 6A Enterprise 65-37, on Nov. 18. Asha Rogers was the high scorer for Luverne with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and TeAndrea Burnett chipped in 6 points and 12 assists.
