Dear Editor,

We would like to thank everyone that had a part in helping make Safe Harbor’s Taster’s Dinner such a huge success! Linda Norton, Ann (Mrs. Wayne) Killough, Sarah Scott and Joyce Little did an excellent job with all of the fall decorations – they were beautiful! The painted and decorated pumpkins were great.

Special thanks to T.K. Lee and the FDA art class, Stacy Edwards and the GHS art class and all the others that made those pumpkins – they were such a big hit with everyone.

Special thanks to Jimmy Gardner, Sue Arnold and Susan Murphy for donating the Troy, Alabama and Auburn footballs. They were great auction items!

We appreciate so much all those that volunteered to help – we had such a great team!

The Chamber Girls and Pages, Key Club members, the First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church Youth Groups did a great job serving.

Thanks also go out to their sponsors. Thank you to those that cooked, donated door prizes and auction items, helped set things up and those that helped clean up after the event.

We want to especially thank Bro. Tim Hoyle and Roness Fail for providing music to get things going…and to Kyle Haynes and David Norrell for emceeing and keeping things going.

Special thanks to Rev. Herbert Brown and Southside Baptist Church for the use of their building. But a very special thanks to all of you that came!

We are so blessed at Safe Harbor to have such a caring and loving community that is always willing to “help us help the children”!!

You certainly do “make a difference in the life of a child”.

May God bless you as you certainly have blessed us.
