In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Luverne High School is showing its support. Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) made pink ribbons to distribute to all fifth through twelfth graders. Everyone was encouraged to pin them on their shirts. Faculty members were also given a pink breast cancer awareness pin with a pink ribbon in appreciation and remembrance of this occasion. Large pink ribbons adorn the front walkway of LHS. HOSA members have been showing support by wearing “Southern Belles Do Believe in Miracles” with their pink T-shirts. Becky Odom is the sponsor of the LHS HOSA.
