WILLIE FAYE MOORE
Moore, Willie Faye, age 69, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Burial took place at Mt. Olive West Cemetery in Garland, on Thursday, October 16, 2008.
Ms. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, John Lee and Minnie Alta Johnson and her sister, Nellie Ruth Drahos. She is survived by her children, Wanda Sants of Greenville, Leigh Benchina of Seabring, Fla., Elizabeth Haddox of Greenville, Alice (David) Buck of Elmore, Terrell Haddox of Greenville, Pennie (Jimmy) Quates of Brunswick, Ga., ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sisters, Josephine (John) Shaw of Grants, NM, Eva Mae Raupach of Montgomery, Oma Lee (James) Baker of Luverne, Linda G. Herring of Henagar, Bonnie Sue Boutwell of Greenville, brother, John C. (Linda) Johnson of Greenville, and brother-in-law, Paul Drahos of Greenville. JOHN ALLEN HELMS
Helms, Mr. John Allen, 76, a resident of Milton, Florida, and formerly of Luverne, died Saturday, October 18, 2008. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Preston Silcox officiating. Interment followed in the Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lillie Belle Helms and two brothers, Charles Helms and Paul Helms.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sue Bush Helms; two children, Victor (Janet) Helms of Woodruff, SC, and Valynn Helms of Prattville; daughter-in-law, Nancy L. (Eldrid) Smith of Brantley; four grandchildren, Natlie (Troy) Bradley, Jonathan Helms, Jake Helms and Nikki Helms; sister, Sybil Helms Folmar of Opp; and brother, Billy (Barbara) Helms of Milton, Fla.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice organization of your choice.
