Cynthia Parker Jackson

Cynthia Parker Jackson, 49, of Bushnell, Fla., died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Tavares, Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. at
the First Baptist Church of Bushnell on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. The Rev. Bill Jackson will preside. Mrs. Jackson was born January 31, 1958 in Evergreen.
A senior probation officer for the State of Florida, she was also a member of Sumterville Baptist Church.
She was a better fisherman than her husband Jackey, loved the outdoors and shopping.
She was the head of Sumter Santa for years and an active, vital part of her community. She was also a loving wife, mom, aunt and friend.
She is survived by: husband of 30 years, Jackey Jackson of Bushnell, Fla.; son, Brady Jackson of Bushnell, Fla.; mom, Mary Jackson of Sumterville, Fla.; dad, Bill Jackson of Sumterville; brother, Rick (Cherry) Jackson of Center Hill, Fla.; sister, Vicki (Chris) Ford of Yalaha, Fla.; brother, Duane (Cindy) Parker, Summerfield, Fla; nieces, Jenifer, Amber, Stacey, Jessica, Ashley, Dianna and Heather; nephews, Ryan, Lonny, Chase, Joe-Joe and Chase and sister, Cathy Sapp of Bushnell.
She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Jackson in 1995 and her father, Joe I. Parker in 2007.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice – Lane Purcell Hospice House.
