Vaudine Nolin

Mrs. Vaudine Nolin, 74, of Albany, Ga., died on Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11 a.m.. at Mathews Funeral Home, with the Rev. Billy B. Shellhouse, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.
A native of Calhoun County, Ga born to Marcine and Myrtice Bowman, Mrs. Nolin had resided in Albany for the past 30 years moving here from Edison.
She was employed with Edison Textiles for twenty five years and also worked with Fritex and Lee Manufacturing.
Mrs. Nolin was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James (Red) Nolin,
two daughters, Carolyn Melton Goodwin and her husband, Rick Updyke and Faye Starnes and her husband, Danny, all of Albany, Ga., two sons, Willie Ed Melton of Albany, Ga. and Jesse James Melton of Pascagoula, Miss., a step-son, James Derrick Nolin of Moultrie, Ga., a step-daughter and her husband, Doris and Lee Cannon of Leesburg, Ga, a brother, George Thomas (Bud) Bowman and his wife, Lucille of Albany, Ga., four sisters, Eugenia Woodward of Lee County, Ga., Mary C. Shellhouse and her husband, Billy B. of Dothan; Dorothy &uot;Dot&uot; Higdon of Greenville, and Patricia Palmer of Camilla, Ga, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
