Lena Mellonee Terrell, age 46, of Moody, died on June 26, 2008 after a courageous battle with a rare vascular disease.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana; visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Georgiana with her cousin, Dr. Michael Williams, officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing.

&uot;Mell&uot; was preceded in death by an infant brother; her mother, Kathryn Walters Williams, and her father, Francis M. Williams. She is survived by her husband, Billy; daughter, Merin Praytor; sons, Mitch Praytor and Max Terrell; brothers, Vic and Fran Williams and her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist in Moody, a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and a loyal friend to so many. Through her complicated life, she held steadfast to her Christian values and beliefs and her generous heart and sense of humor touched so many of us. We will surely miss her but carry her passion for life in our hearts forever.

Her family would like to acknowledge and thank her entire team of doctors and the special staff of nurses in the ICU at Trinity Hospital for their special care and efforts during the prolonged illness.

In lieu of flowers, we are establishing a trust fund for her eight-year-old son, Max at First Commercial Bank c/o Roselyn Wolverton, 109 South Chalkville Rd, Trussville, AL 35173.
