Thomas Houston Gaines, age 85, a resident of Camden, died on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at his home. Graveside services were held on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Society Hill Cemetery in Camden, with Mr. Robert Small officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the funeral home. Mr. Gaines is survived by his wife, Gertrude Felts Gaines; daughters, Trudy (Van) Waren, Nell Small, all of Camden; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
