Syble Wilson Price

Syble Wilson Price, 78, of San Antonio, Texas, died October 17, 2007 at Air Force Village II after a long illness. Daughter of Jesse Alto Wilson and Lila Belle Wood, the former Mary Syble Wilson was born on November 23, 1928 and lived in Macon, Ga., and St. Petersburg, Fla. She graduated from Mather School of Nursing (now William Carey University) in New Orleans, La. in 1951, and married William Sidney Price Jr. on February 23, 1952.
They moved to Sacramento, Calif. And were stationed at Mather Air Force Base. Syble retired from her nursing career in 1986. After subsequent moves to Arkansas, Nebraska, Hawaii and Texas she moved to San Antonio in 1992.
Syble was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Mark Price of Little Rock and a sister, Redetha Ann Ratchford of Decatur, Ga.
She is survived by her husband, William Sydney Price Jr.; one son, William Wilson Price of Oak Hill, Va.; one daughter, Mary Sydney Price-Nagel of Beverly Hills, Calif.; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and a number of great nephews and nieces. Memorial services were held October 19, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Air Force Village II High Flight Chapel with Air Force chaplains officiating.
