September 25

n Robert Hinson, 42, was arrested and charged with nine counts of sodomy.

n James Michael Reaves, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree receiving stolen property.

September 29

n Danny Wayne Beck, 19, was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual abuse.

n Bessie Phillips, 33, was arrested and charged with negotiating a worthless negotiable.

The following reports were filed through the Butler County Sheriff's Office from September 25 to October 1:

September 25

n A report was filed at McKenzie School for harassment. A woman harassed a County employee about her son being suspended from the school bus.

September 26

n A report was filed on Fieldcrest Drive in Georgiana for third-degree burglary. Someone broke into a residence and stole $500 worth of a Playstation 2 and games.

September 27

A report was filed on Pigeon Creek Road in Greenville for unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. A CD player, speakers, an amplifier, CD's were stolen and damage done to the vehicle, all totaling nearly $4,000.

n A report was filed on Sandcutt Road in Greenville for third-degree criminal mischief. A resident's mailbox was damaged for the second time this month.

n A report was filed on Owens Road in Greenville for unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle. A CD player, speakers, an amplifier and tweeters were stolen and damage done to the vehicle, all totaling $1,300.

September 28

n A report was filed on S. Mount Zion road in Greenville for harassing communications. A woman keeps leaving threatening messages on a cell phone.

September 29

n A report was filed on S. Old Central Road in Greenville for third-degree burglary and second-degree theft. A planer, table saw and skill saw were stolen and damage done to the residence, all totaling $900.

n A report was filed on Whisper Lane in Greenville for third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. Someone pried open the door and forced entry.

n A report was filed on Highway 10 E. for an abandoned vehicle. A vehicle, left partially in the road, was towed.

September 30

n A report was filed on Mobile Road in Greenville for second-degree burglary and attempted rape. A man entered a house and attempted to rape a woman before fleeing the scene.

October 1

n A report was filed on Huggins Street in Greenville for third-degree criminal mischief. Someone shot several trailers with green paintballs.
