September 18

n Kenneth Howard McCann, 43, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

n Glenn Sexton, 24, was arrested and charged with harassing communications.

n Patrick Peterson, 32, was arrested a charged with possession of a recreational controlled substance.

n William Sandidge, 36, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault.

September 24

n Darren Letrail Crenshaw, 21, was arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence harassment.

The following reports were filed through the Butler County Sheriff's Office from September 20 to September 25:

September 20

n A report was filed on Avant Road in Georgiana for assault. Someone drove into another person's yard, hit them with their truck door and proceeded to start a fight.

n A report was filed on Honoraville Road in Greenville for burglary and theft. A Playstation 2, games, controllers, adaptors and memory cards, all totaling $1,500, were stolen.

n A report was filed at Perdue Place in Greenville for domestic violence harassment. A man jumped into someone else's car and began hitting them.

September 22

n A report was filed at Butler Estates in Greenville for theft. A $150 check was stolen.

n A report was filed on Old Stage Road in Greenville for breaking and entering a motor vehicle. A flip-face CD player worth $205 was stolen.

September 23

n A report was filed on Conservation Road for an automobile accident. Someone backed into a truck at a hunting club.

n A report was filed on Old Stage Road in Greenville for criminal mischief. A residential door and frame were damaged after an unknown person kicked it in.

September 24

n A report was filed on Cherrywood Lane in Greenville for theft and criminal trespassing. A pit bull puppy was stolen out of a yard.

n A report was filed on Edgeview Heights Road in Greenville for domestic violence harassment. A son verbally abused his mother.

September 25

n Two reports were filed on Pleasant Hill Court in Greenville for theft. A hammer, two CD players, a CB radio, oil and antifreeze, all totaling more than $575, were stolen out of a two separate vehicles.
