The following arrests were made by the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office from May 31 to June 4:

May 31

n Christopher Morris, 23, was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband in the third degree.

n Arthur D. Andrews, 55, was arrested and charged with failure to pay child support.

nDerrick Scarver, 30, was arrested and charged with two counts of failure to pay child support.

May 4

n Micheal Anthony Reeves, 38, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, giving false information to a police officer and resisting arrest.

The following complaints were filed through the Butler County Sheriff's Office between May 29 and June 3:

May 29

n A report was filed on Shell Road in Georgiana for theft of property. Stolen sometime between May 24 and May 28 were a Remington bolt-action rifle ($400), a 16-gauge Browning sweet 16 semi-automatic rifle ($3000), a 12-gauge Remington magnum ($500), a pair of diamond earrings ($300), all totaling $4200.

May 31

n A report was filed on Petti Bone Road in Greenville for criminal mischief. A front windowpane, valued at $25, was broken.

June 2

n A report was filed on Wagon Wheel Road in Greenville for theft of property. Stolen was a red, Murray push mower valued at $150.

n A report was filed on Nix Road in Greenville for harassment. Several phone calls of a sexual nature were made to a private residence, with the last one closing by saying, &#8220You are dead.”

n A report was filed on Poorhouse Road in Greenville for theft of property. Stolen was a white air conditioning unit valued at $100.

June 3

n A report was filed on Manningham Road, County Road 54 in Greenville for recovered property. A black wallet was found.
