Break out the beach blankets and outdoor chairs and grab the picnic basket: the sound of live music will return to Confederate Park in the Camellia City in April, and organizers want you to come join in the fun.
Main Street of Greenville will once again sponsor its popular “Concert in the Park” series, beginning at 6:30 p.m. next Thursday, April 6 and continuing each Thursday night (weather permitting) throughout the spring.
Main Street Executive Director Nancy Idland promises “loads of great local talent” during the weekly outdoor event.
“We have some wonderful performers lined up this year, including Rock Killough and Steve Norman, Sabrina Reynolds, and Miss Greater Greenville, Kimberly Kirby,” Idland said.
The concerts, as always, are free to the public.
“It's a great time to come out and breath some fresh air, relax and enjoy some great live entertainment in a beautiful setting,” Idland said.
Concessions will be available for those who want to enjoy a light supper at the park without preparing their own.
“Plan to come out and enjoy our beautiful city and listen to some good music,” Idland said.
