The following complaints were filed at the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office during the period from Oct. 9 through Oct. 13:

Oct. 9

n A complaint was filed for possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia on Highway 55 South in McKenzie. One clear bag containing a green leafy substance was recovered.

n A complaint was filed for assault, third degree, on Pineapple Highway.

n A complaint was filed for livestock running at large on Steiner Store Road in Honoraville.

Oct. 12

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, at Myrick’s Grocery. One can of Copenhagen snuff, valued at $5, was taken.

n A complaint was filed for promoting prison contraband at the Butler County Jail. Two packs of Newport cigarettes, valued at $8, were recovered.

Oct. 13

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, on Bethlehem Road. Items taken included one watch, valued at $80, an engraved bracelet, valued at $30, one necklace, valued at $50, wedding bands, valued at $150, cuff links and a tie clip, valued at $60, one CD player, valued at $80, and one hibachi grill, valued at $80.

n A complaint was filed for criminal mischief, second degree, on Spring Valley Lane. Seven house windows received $700 in damages.

The following arrests were filed at the Butler County Sheriff's Office during the period from Oct. 4 through Oct. 13:

Oct. 4

Jessie James Griffin, 36, was arrested for theft of property, second degree.

Oct. 9

n Calvin Jerome Simmons was arrested for harassing communications.

n Darren Donnell Stallworth, 19, was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

n Lawrence Ball Jr., 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

n Theo Letwaun Cobb, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 12

n Walter Timothy Shawn Keeney, 22, was arrested for no driver’s license and three counts of NWNI.

n Sheri Smith Keeney, 28, was arrested for four counts of NWNI.

Oct. 13

n Buddy Wayne Jones, 21, was arrested for robbery, first degree, and burglary, first degree.
