The following complaints were filed at the Butler County Sheriff#039;s Office during the period from Oct. 1 through Oct. 4:

Oct. 1

n A complaint was filed for escape, second degree, at the Butler County Jail. An inmate escaped after a work release detail but was captured.

n A complaint was filed for domestic violence/harassment and harassing communications on Gravel Hill Road.

Oct. 3

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, and theft of property, second degree, on Money Clip Road in Greenville. A total of $1,330 in items was taken, and one storm window received $150 in damages.

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, third degree, on South Mt. Zion Road. Items taken included one color TV, valued at $200, $140 in cash, and $30 in gas.

Oct. 4

n A complaint was filed for theft of property, second degree, on Bluebird Drive. $811 in cash was taken.

n A complaint was filed for burglary, third degree, on Halso Mill Road. Items taken included one TV and VCR, with a total value of $300.

n A report was filed for a lost cell phone on Palmer Road in Georgiana.

The following arrests were filed at the Butler County Sheriff's Office during the period from Sept. 29 through Oct. 6:

Sept. 29

n Patrick Leon Peterson, 30, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, first degree.

Sept. 30

n Kimber Lashawn Moore, 28, was arrested for resisting arrest.

Oct.1

n Marion Wayne Gardner, 53, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree, and assault.

Oct. 4

n Leroy Scarver, 30, was arrested for failure to appear for contempt of court.

n Michael Bernard Rudolph, 27, was arrested for an alias warrant for promoting prison contraband.

Oct. 6

n Harold Olenda Peagler, 61, was arrested on a warrant from Pike County for attempted murder.
