Stanley and Patsy Roper of Maplesville are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Ann, to James Brandon Till, son of Tim and Pam Till of Greenville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charlie and Pernie Jones of Jemison, Carol Luker of Maplesville, and the late Douglas Roper. Miss Roper is a graduate of Isabella High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation from Troy University.

Miss Roper went on to receive a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Auburn University. She is currently employed with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Lawrence and Karen Watkins of Greenville and the late Dorothy Watkins, J.T. Till of Excel and Katherine Till of Excel. Mr. Till is a graduate of Greenville Academy. He received an Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics and Electricity from Reid State Technical College at Evergreen. Mr. Till is currently employed with the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind.

The wedding will take place Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at Sturdivant Hall in Selma. All family and friends are invited to attend.
