Valerie Thompson announces the engagement of her daughter, Stephanie Nicole, to Heath Peavy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerrald Peavy of Georgiana.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the Okaloosa County School System and the Okaloosa-Walton College for Law Enforcement in Florida. She is currently employed by Wright Day Care.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peavy of Georgiana, and Pauline Smith and the late Willie J. Smith, of Greenville.

He is a graduate of Georgiana High School and Reid State Technical College.

He is currently employed with BAE Systems in Eglin AFB in Ft. Walton Beach.

The wedding is scheduled for Sept. 10, 2005 at 4 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
