Rod and Cheryl Lurie of Dothan announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Dawn, to Robert Andrew Byrne, son of Robert and Sandra Byrne of Spring Hill, Fla.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Adams of Greenville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lurie of Dothan.

Miss Lurie received her Bachelors and Masters in Speech Pathology from Auburn University. She is currently employed as a speech pathologist with Orange County Public Schools in Orlando.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pearson of Yorkshire, England, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Byrne of Manhattan, NYC.

Mr. Byrne received his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is currently employed with DEI Engineering Corporation in Orlando.

The nuptials are scheduled to take place on November 5, 2005 at 4 p.m. in Orlando.
