McQueen, Edwards set August nuptials

Mr. and Mrs. James Timothy McQueen of Fort Deposit, Alabama, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandi Elizabeth, to Charles W. Edwards II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wayne Edwards of Opelika, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. William R. Farrar, of Canoe, Alabama, and the late James Ralph McQueen and Ann Bates McQueen, of Fort Deposit, Alabama.

Miss McQueen is a 1998 graduate of Greenville High School.

She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, and is currently enrolled at Auburn University receiving a Masters of Education degree in Career and Technical Business Education.

She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brewer, of Opelika, Alabama, the late Alice Smith, of Opelika, Alabama, and Mr. and Mrs. Winston Edwards of Columbia, South Carolina.

Mr. Edwards is a 1995 graduate of Opelika High School, and attended Southern Union State Community College.

He is employed as a salesman by Auburn Winnelson Company of Auburn, Alabama.

The wedding festivities will take place on August 27, 2005 in Sandy Ridge, Alabama.
