Huggins, Emerson plan a July wedding

Bob Huggins of McKenzie would like to announce the upcoming wedding of his daughter, Stephanie Lynn Huggins, to Zachery Ian Emerson of Hartselle. The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Dorothy Campbell Huggins of McKenzie, and the granddaughter of Addie B. Huggins and the late Glenn Huggins of McKenzie, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Campbell, Sr. of Greenville.

Miss Huggins, a 1995 graduate of McKenzie High School, received her Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University in 2001.

She is currently employed as an environmental engineer with Hill-Stratton Engineers, Inc. in Columbus, Ga.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dwight and Diane Emerson of Hartselle, and the grandson of Gussie Day Harris of Hartselle. Mr. Emerson, a 1997 Hartselle High School graduate, received a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University in 2001 and a Masters Degree in the same field in 2003.

He is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in chemical engineering, and plans to teach the subject at the college level after graduation.

The couple plans to be wed at the Auburn University Chapel on South College St. in Auburn on July 30. 2005. Rev. Jim Ross of Ft. Walton Beach and Rev. Joel Jones, uncles of the bride, will officiate at the ceremony. Following the wedding, a reception will be held at Greystone Mansion in Auburn. The couple plans to reside in Auburn following the wedding.
