MONTGOMERY- Rev. Albert Gavin Moore, 70, died Friday after an extended illness. Rev. Moore has served in the ministry for over 45 years. Rev. Moore was a member of the Oak Park Blue Masonic Lodge and a former Shriner. He was ordained as a Methodist minister and served at the Boylston United Methodist Church, Mathews United Methodist Church and Normandale United Methodist Church.

Rev. Moore was reordained a minister with the Braggs Christian Church, Shady Grove Christian Church and Cloverdale Christian Church.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Cloverdale Christian Church with his church family officiating.

Burial followed at 4 p.m.Tuesday at Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville with White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home directing.

Rev. Moore is survived by three daughters, Rhea (Lee) James of Valley, Ala., Amy Moore of Pelham, Ala., Martha (William) Emery of Pineville, Ky.; grandchildren, Tripp (Sam) James, Holly (Ross) Coxwell, Christopher Gavin James, Emily Emery, Sarah Grace Moore, Amber Emery, and Laurel Moore; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Coxwell and Kaydence James.
