GREENVILLE-Mrs. Trudie Phelps Helms, 91, a former resident of Greenville, died Monday, June 13, 2005.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Chapel with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery with Dunklin-Herndon Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha Ann Lewis and Jane (Lawrence) Clark, both of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Bill Lewis and Leigh Ann (Joe) Kyser; three great-grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Kyser, and Alexa Lewis, all of Montgomery; one sister, Libby Cheatham, of Pensacola, Florida.

Mrs. Helms was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leroy Helms.
