The Red Sox scored eight runs in the fifth inning to close out an easy 12-1 victory over the Fort Deposit Nationals in Dixie Majors action last Thursday.
Stephen Croley scattered two triples for the Red Sox, while Zack Smith had a hit.
Brian Campbell, who scored Fort Deposit's lone run, also had the only hit for the Nationals.
A's 5, Yankees 4
The A's Hunter Paul and Brandon Anthony scored two runs in the sixth inning to nip the Yankees.
Brad Heartsill led the A's at the plate with a triple, while Adam Moore and Josh Booker had a hit each.
Trailing 3-2 in the sixth, the Yankees claimed the lead after Brady Newton and Andrew Phelps scored a run each.
Then the A's roared back to win it in the bottom of the frame.
A's 6, Rangers 5
The Rangers scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning but it was not enough to fend off the A's.
Brad Heartsill scored two runs and led off the game with a triple to pace the A's.
Andy Betterton led the Rangers with a hit.
Men's softball
Jack's 13, Misfits 1
Lavar Lymon, Lee Lymon, Anthony Lymon and Tracey Finklea scattered two hits and scored two runs each to lead the Jack's to the 12-run victory.
Tim Miller led the Misfits with two hits.
Levi Braden, Tommy Mobley, James Jones and Chris Thompson each chipped in a hit.
