Indians edge Red Sox in extra innings, 10-9

The Indians scored the tying and game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to nip the Red Sox, 10-9 on May 16 in Dixie Boys action.

Terrence Hatcher led the Indians by going 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the fourth inning.

Deven Cheatham and Thomas Nolan added two hits each for the Indians.

Brantley McKeown led the Red Sox with two hits, while Cordez Peagler, Allen Thompson, Cory Folds and Shooks Simmons had a hit each.

A's 9, White Sox 4

The A's jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in their 9-4 victory.

Jeffrey Stead led the A's with three hits and two runs scored. Stewart Moody and Mathew Burkett had a hit each.

Indians 14, White Sox 1

Deven Cheatham had two hits and three RBIs to lead the Indians past the White Sox on May 19.

Daniel Nolan, Steven Lee and Terrance Hatcher added two hits each.

Paul Whigham and Casey Tesmer had a hit each for the White Sox.

Red Sox 12, A's 2

Demarcus Robinson had two doubles and scored two runs to lead the Red Sox past the A's.

Dustin Till had a hit and scored three runs, while Shanks Simmons had two hits and scored a run for the Red Sox.

Slammers 12, Pirates 1

Abby Blackman scattered three hits, including two doubles and had two RBIs to lead the Slammers past the Pirates on May 16.

Abby Martin and Hope Hough added two hits and two RBIs each for the Slammers, which closed out their victory by scoring five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Pracilla Collins scored the Pirates lone run in the first inning on a RBI single by Lori Fail.

Astros 8, Cubs 4

The Astros jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed to ease past the Cubs on May 16.

Chip Taylor led the Astros with two hits, including a double.

Wilson Lowe, Daniel Hall and Jeffrey Fuller also had a hit each for the Astros.

Wesley Scott led the Cubs with two hits, while Terrence Owens and Seth Glass pitched in with a hit each.

Braves 6, Cardinals 3

Ryan Smith had three hits on the day, including a three-run home run to help the Braves double up on the Cardinals on May 17.

Tim Hawkins, Miller Owens and Nathan Branum also had three hits for the Braves.

Cody Tesmer and Hunter Armstrong led the Cardinals with three hits and a run scored.

Rush Nimmer also had three hits, including a two-run home run.

Red Sox 5, A's 3

Todd Burkett had three hits and scored two runs to lead the Red Sox past the A's.

Jeremy McGinty and Alex Bowen had three hits, while Steven Till had two hits.

Josh Ray, Brandon Mathews and Raymond Moody finished with three hits for the A's. Moody also had a RBI.

Mets 6, Rangers 5

Brandon Smith accounted for five of the Mets' six runs to help lead the Mets to victory.

Smith had two hits, scored three runs and had two RBI to lead his team.

Skylar McKeown finished with two hits and scored two runs, while Gray Vinson had a hit and scored a run.

Eli Blackman led the Rangers with two hits and two scored runs.

Toby King led the Orioles with two hits and scored a run, while Cade Tillery had one hit and two RBIs.

Ryan Taylor paced the Red Sox with a hit and one run scored.

Chip Taylor, Wilson Lowe, Chase Whiddon, Daniel Hall Autrey and Jeffrey Fuller had three hits each to pace the Astros to an easy win over the Red Sox on May 19.

Ryan Taylor had two hits and scored the Red Sox' lone run.

Dustin Moorehead, Harper Vinson and Andy Burns had two hits each to lead the White Sox over the Orioles.

Adam Sawicki led the First Assembly of God with four hits and three runs scored.

Steve Tew added three hits and scored three runs, while Wayne Duncan added two hits.

Anthony Mims and Lee Lymon paced Jack's with a home run each. T.D. Green, Charles Banks and Mims had two hits each.

Tyrone B. Shop 25, 1st Assembly 16

Vince Smith and Lynn Lewis each blasted a home run to lead Tyrone's to victory.

Smith led his team with four hits and three runs scored.

Dexter Hawkins and Robert McClaney had three hits and three runs scored each.

Donte Lee had three home runs and four RBIs to lead the Giants past the Dodgers on May 19.

Tristen Stenson, Austin Brown, Devon Middleton and Fuller Myrick pitched in two hits and two runs scored each.

Zack Gaston had three hits and scored three runs to lead the Dodgers.

Justin Taylor also pitched in three hits and scored two runs.

Jakeem Davidson, Tyler Owens, JaQuan Lewis and Austin Vickery had three hits for the Yankees in their win over the Indians.

Ryan Burkett, Brandon Blackmon, Joseph Raven and Colby Booker had three hits each for the Indians.

Jessie Kelley, Avery Shipp, Anthony Dunbar and Adam Brown had three hits and scored three runs each to nip the Cardinals.
