Greenville - Houston Newton, 79, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2005. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 1, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
