After the B team finished dismantling the Carroll Ozark Junior Varsity Eagles 64-39, the Greenville High School Lady Tigers took the floor against the Lady Eagles of Carroll Ozark.

Greenville jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead when Jessica Powell buried it in the back of the basket from the top of the key.

Greenville continued to roll offensively thanks to baskets from Katoria MacDonald and Morgan Crenshaw.

The Lady Tigers expanded their lead to 7-0 before the Lady Eagles were able to respond. Their response came in the form of a free throw and then a quick jumper to close the gap to 7-4.

The Lady Tigers rallied back and expanded the lead to 11-4 but the Lady Eagles battled back once again cutting the lead to three points, 11-8.

After a foul gave Carroll a chance to reset their offense, they quickly found their way inside to another basket cutting the Lady Tiger lead to one point, 11-10.

Jessica Powell pushed Greenville back out in front with a three, bringing the score to 14-10, but, on Carroll's next trip down the floor, they tack on a three of their own as the quarter draws to an end.

At the end of the first quarter, Greenville is up 14-13.

MacDonald is fouled early in the second period and sinks both of her freebies, pushing the Lady Tigers out to 16-13.

16-13 quickly turned into 18-13 when Crenshaw was fouled under the basket, and drained both of her free throws. The Lady Tigers roll continued, tacking on four more points and bringing the tally to 22-13. The Lady Eagles kill the rally with a deep two, bringing the score 22-15.

The Lady Tigers push the ball back up the court and Crenshaw fights for a basket under the net, giving them the 24-15 lead. Powell tacks on a breakaway lay-in making the score 26-15.

But, the Lady Eagles refused to roll over and play dead, fighting back and cutting the Greenville lead to one, 26-25.

But, Greenville regained the momentum and pulled ahead 30-25.

The final scores of the girls game and the boys varsity game were not available at press time.
