Family and Friends Day will be held at the Old Elam Baptist Church in Greenville on Nov. 28. Services begin at 2 p.m. with the guest speaker, the Rev. James Gateway, pastor of the Mount Olive A.M.E. Zion Church of Newberry.

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its &uot;All Wrapped Up in the Spirit of Christmas&uot; at the C of C Depot beginning on Monday, Nov. 29. Bring your locally purchased gift items along with a receipt to the depot and your items will be wrapped for FREE while you wait. NO limit on number of packages or visits! Dec. 2

The City of Greenville’s Annual Christmas Parade is slated for Thursday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. with the theme of &uot;Hometown Holiday Celebration&uot;. Greenville native Beth Killough Chapman, state auditor, will be Grand Marshal. Applications for entries are available at the C of C office or call 382-3251 for more info.

Dec. 4

The Town of McKenzie Christmas Parade is canceled. For more information, call the town hall at 374-2311.

The City of Hayneville will have it's Christmas Parade Dec. 4, 2004. The parade will feature bands, floats, horses and Santa Claus. Prizes will be given out for the most

outstanding float, float with the best Biblical theme and float with the best Christmas spirit.

FIW Volunteer Fire Dept. is sponsoring a Big Buck Contest until Jan. 31st. The entry fee is $20. First place wins a Benelli Nova Shotgun 3&1/2" Magnum 12 gauge.Register at Friendship Corner Stop at the intersection of Hwy. 106 and County Road 45.
