Well, where do I start? Things have been really hectic around town lately.

Dozier’s Class of 1954 held its 50th high school reunion recently at the Jan Cook Community Center. There were 29 in attendance, including a very special teacher Mrs. Hazel Rawls.

Everyone enjoyed a trip down memory lane as they caught up on each other’s lives.

Please keep Robert Dean in your prayers. He is back at home after having a heart attack. He is better, but we continue to pray for a speedy recovery.

The Davis family has been running around getting ready for a wedding this coming weekend.

Jennifer Davis will be getting married Saturday afternoon at the Dozier Baptist Church. There have been several showers for her, including a bridal shower given by the ladies of the Baptist Church, a lingerie shower given by Lynn McCrory at her home and a shower given by family and friends.

After the wedding, Jennifer and Justin will be here with family for about a week before going to Italy where Justin is stationed.

Congratulations!
