Luverne schools recently placed in newspaper competition at the Southeast Regional High School Journalism Workshop at Troy University. Vernon Moody and Amanda Gasper (Luverne High) and Terry Colquett (Crenshaw Christian Academy) receive awards from Dr. Steve Padgett, Director of Hall School of Journalism.

The Tiger Rag, the Luverne High school paper, placed third in Layout and Design and second in Photography. The Cougar Roar, CCA's paper, placed first in Photography.
