Squadron preps for homecoming

Highland Home's football team and cheerleaders aren't the only ones preparing for homecoming tomorrow night.
Students and faculty are busy as well preparing for the day jammed packed with activities.
"It is with great pleasure that we invite everyone to join us for our homecoming festivities," Homecoming Chairman and Highland Home teacher
Tiffany Fussell said.
The school's homecoming theme this year is "We are the Champions."
Fussell said several school activities will highlight homecoming.
A spirit bonfire will be held at 7 p.m. tonight on the baseball field.
The homecoming court will be recognized during the homecoming assembly program at 1 p.m. tomorrow with a pep rally immediately following.
Friday night, the Squadron Pride Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. kickoff
against region rival Marbury.
The crowning of Homecoming Queen 2004, Faith Thomas, and presentation of her court will take place at halftime.
Camp stew and barbecue chicken plates will also be served Friday night in the school cafeteria. Camp stew is $5 and BBQ chicken plates are $4.
