The University of West Alabama and Greenville High School will host a softball clinic on Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The cost is $40 per camper.

Ages 8-18 are encouraged to attend.

The Greenville Training, Southside Class Reunion will hold a meeting to finzalize the financial obligations and elect new officers on Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at 411 Harrison Street.

Oct. 2

Garden Baptist Church will hold a benefit for Mrs. Hamrac, wife of the late minister, Harley Hamrac, Oct. 2, at 4 p.m. in McKenzie School.

Oct. 3

Oak Grove Methodist Church on Hwy. 185 North will observe its annual homecoming Oct. 3. Services will begin at 11 a.m. and be followed by lunch.

&uot;Save A Life Give a Phone&uot; collects used cell phones and refurbishes them in order to provide emergency 911 access for elderly and disable persons, the YMCA domestic violence shelters and domestic violence victims nationwide. The organization asks everyone in the community to participate in this drive. The local drop off point in Greenville is at Walker Business Machines on E. Commerce Street.
