Georgiana High classes hold 13th reunion

Members of the Classes of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s and Friends of Georgiana High School attended the 13th Reunion at the Nutrition Center in Georgiana on June 5, 2004.
They enjoyed an afternoon spent remembering their younger days spent with &uot;old&uot; friends, talking about the good old days growing up in the small town of Georgiana and attending school there, their teachers, telling about our smart children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. There were pictures displayed of sport scenes, classmates and how Georgiana looked when they were growing up.
The food tables were covered in white cloths and centered with arrangements of pastel silk flowers. The registry table held an arrangement of fresh blue hydrangeas and yellow calla lilies.
An array of food was enjoyed during the afternoon. They ate sandwiches made of cucumber, chicken salad, ham, turkey and pimento cheese.
A variety of desserts included cakes made of coconut, caramel, chocolate pound, and lemon cheese.
Candies included fudge, apple tarts and various trays of fruit and vegetables. Fudge candy, the world famous apple tarts, fruit and vegetable trays and much more.
Those attending from Florida were: James Gorum, Dr. Shelton Pinkerton, Dorothy G. Duke, Mae Barrinean and Betty Martin, Emily Joyner, Betty S. Thompson, Max Wright, Pat and Peggy Sellers, Morris and Mary Frances Middleton, Ralph and Karleen Demargin, Jack & Jean Lee.
Mike Williams visited from Texas.
Randy & Sandy Morris attended from California. Dot and Carlyle Sparkman attended from Louisiana. Shirley Hastings and Hamp and Tinkey Cook attended from Mississippi.
