Returning student seminar at UA

The University of Alabama's College of Continuing Studies is hosting a free seminar specifically designed for adult students who are considering attending The University of Alabama. The seminar will be held on Thursday, July 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center, on the UA campus. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, continuing education and others will speak briefly and answer questions that adult students may have about the University. WMU, Men's Ministry to hold joint meeting

The Women's Missionary Union and Men's Ministry of Albama-Crenshaw Baptist Association will hold their Joint Meeting on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Springhill South Baptist Church. Dr. William (Pete) and Patt Dunn, International Mission Board missionaries, will be the guest speakers. Meal begins at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. A nursery will be provided. Everyone is invited to attend.

Small business counseling session planned in Greenville

A representative from the Small Business Development Center at Troy University will visit the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce Thursday, July 22 to provide free counseling. The counseling is available from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Call 382-3251 or 800-959-0717 to set up an appointment. Troy University's SBDC provides the counseling services monthly at the chamber's resource center, which is maintained by the Small Business Administration. In addition, a small library of various government publications is maintained at the center. Publications will not be available for distribution, however, forms for ordering the publications will be provided.

LBWCC 2004 Summer Graduation

Lurleen B. Wallace Community College is proud to announce its 2004 Summer Graduation on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 7 p.m. Commencement services will be held at the Conference Center on the MacArthur Campus in Opp.

Gospel meeting

A gospel meeting will be held at the County Line Church of Christ July 18 to 21. Sunday Bible study begins at 10 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m. and a luncheon held at noon. Nightly services will be at 7:30 p.m.

Gospel singing

A gospel singing will be held Friday, July 23, at

Homcoming services

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church will hold homecoming services Sunday, July 18. Services start at 11 a.m. with a covered dish lunch served after. Revival services will be held July 19 through 21 beginning at 7 p.m. each night. Guest Preacher will be Bro. Mike Green of Luverne.
