Royce Tolbert, Ethan Hilliard and Tyler Millo each finished 2nforn2 at the plate to lead the Dixie Minor Cubs to a 10n1 win over the A's on Thursday night.

Tolbert led the trio by legging out a triple, hitting a single and driving in three runs.

Hilliard and Millo had two singles each. Millo added two RBI.

Hunter Hamm and Matt Langford each finished with a single for the Cubs.

Pitcher Jerome Cook struck out seven batters and allowed only two hits to pick up the win on the mound.

Bruce Jones led the A's with a triple, while Cade Tillery added a single.

Tillery struck out nine batters in the losing effort.

Dixie Youth

Pitcher Josh Ray hurled a nonhitter and struck out 12 batters to lead the Dixie Youth Red Sox to a 3n0 win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Ty Varner, Andrew Callen and Jim Grayson each slapped RBI singles to lead the Sox to victory.

Todd Burkett legged out a triple for the Red Sox, while Gary Fields hit a double. Jeremy McGinty, Jonathan Youngblood and Alex Ross each added singles.

Ryan Smith struck out 11 in the loss for the Cardinals.

Braves 3

Orioles 1

The Braves collected three runs on five hits to down the Orioles 3n1 on Tuesday.

Wayne Luckie led the Braves' offense with a single, an RBI and a run scored.

Nathan Branum added two doubles for the Braves, while Wesley Hendrix and Shaye Heartsill added a single each.

The Braves' pitching staff struck out 15 of the 20 batters faced.

Matthew Burkett's single in the first inning was the Orioles only hit of the game.

Rangers 12

A's 2

Ranger's infielders Cordez Peagler, Dustin Till and Cooper Lewis had a field day at the plate Tuesday as they led their team to a big 12n2 win over the A's.

Peagler went a perfect 3nforn3 at the dish with a double, two singles, an RBI and scored three runs, while Till finished with a double, a single, two RBI and scored two runs and Lewis added two singles, an RBI and scored two runs.

Shanks Simmons picked up the win on the mound for the Rangers. He finished with seven strikeouts.

Gray Vinson led the A's with two singles on two hits and scored two runs. Stewart Moody and Miller Owens each added a hit.
