The Greenville Fire Department, the Greenville Police Department, the Greenville Street Department and the Greenville Water Works Department responded to New Searcy Road Sunday afternoon when a man was buried in a trench after the walls of dirt collapsed on him.

Jacob Britt Anderson, 26, of Kinston died in the accident.
