The Greenville Academy Nados hosted the Lowndes Academy Rebel baseball team Tuesday, and after a supercharged first inning, made it apparent that they were not going to let the Rebels score.

A full count and a wild pitch put GA second baseman Michael Cauthen on first. Next, a walk by Adam Moore and a single by Micah Moore loaded the bases. A walk by catcher Emory Winters, a base-hit by right-fielder Colt Brantley and a walk by left-fielder Justin Beeson brought in Cauthen and the Moore brothers to make the score 3-0 after one.

After an unsuccessful at-bat by the Rebels, the Nados once again headed to the plate. They began the inning with a walk by center fielder Andy Beck and a single by shortstop Josh Burt. Errors by the Lowndes center fielder and short stop put Cauthen on second with a double. Another series of errors by the Rebels put Adam Moore on second and what would have been a triple after an error by Lowndes' second baseman, Micah Moore was thrown out at third, but not before Beck, Cauthen and Adam Moore scored for GA. This made the score after two GA, 6, LA, 0.
