A widely acclaimed flower show is set for Sunday, February 24 at 2 p.m. at the Ritz Theater. The presentation will be followed by a light reception and book signing in the Ritz Lobby.

Beyond the magnificent old walls and gates of Charleston’s distinguished historic homes lie lush, private gardens.

The Private Gardens of Charleston present a detailed view of 25 of these gardens in photographs and explores the diversity of gardening interests and styles, ranging from the elegant distinction of a &uot;typical&uot; Charleston garden – narrow, shady and verdant, and accented with the glorious color of azaleas and camellias- to an exotic garden containing a rare collection of tropical palms.
