Southside Baptist Church invites teens from across the area to make a commitment to wait for the right one' through the national movement "True Love Waits."
The goal of True Love Waits', says Southside Youth Minister Jeremy Jones, is "to encourage young people to make a pledge to God and their future spouse to practice abstinence until an ordained marriage."
The church is sponsoring a special rally on Wednesday night, February 13 at the Ritz Theatre from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Special guest speaker is Scott Ross who works with Student Life and is also a member of the Christian drama team "All Things to All People." The worship band "Solomon's Colonnade" – Brad Hull, Glenn Smith, Tommy Hinton, Denise Kornegy and Paige Persons, all from the University of Mobile
will perform during the rally.
"We want to welcome any students to come and join us for the evening.
This is non-denominational and open to all teens across the Greenville and Butler County area", says Jones.
