The Greenville Academy Tornados will be on the road this week, as they travel Friday night to face the hosting Edgewood Academy Wildcats.

Tornados Head Coach Charles Oswald said his team will have its work cut out for them.

"Edgewood runs a split off play and shotgun plays a lot of the time n they have a wide receiver that's really hard to catch," Oswald said after reviewing the Wildcats on film. Our main strategy will be to man up on their wide receiver, and play zone defense with a safety over the top."

Oswald said the Wildcat offense would be tough to defend against, with their wide variety of plays.

"They also throw in a lot of screen passes too," he said.

Offensively, Oswald felt encouraged by the performance of the Tornados last Friday night, when they played against Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy.

"We are looking really a whole lot better with our offense," he said. "I was very pleased with the yardage we were able to gain last Friday night against Pike."

The Tornados will leave town early Friday evening, for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff scheduled at Edgewood Academy, located on the east side of Montgomery.
