In Dixie Junior/Senior action this week, the Cobras defeated the Bandits, 11-2, playing on field two at the new ball complex.

Three of the first four batters for the Cobras finished the night with pairs of runs.

In order, it was Danielle Mitchell, Mikki Harris and Lakyn Newton n Harris and Mitchell each stole bases as well.

Adding up the score for the reptilians was Sarah Pierce, Dale Johnson, Amy Tadlock, Christina Blodgett, Christina Flowers and Renee Hickman, each crossing the plate once.

For the Bandits, Jo Hester made the two runs, in the first and third innings.

Hester also made a phenomenal stretch to catch a low fly ball from her position at third base, retiring the Cobras' at-bat for the night in the third inning.
