Nados were shutout, with a score of 7-0 after seven innings.

For the girls, Shae Black led the scoring, with three runs to her credit; Ashley May and Lindsey Stinson were each tied with two runs, and Brianne Black, Ginger May and Tabitha Gafford each came across the plate once.

While the

Nados were very strong defensively, they were unable to send anyone across the plate.

One key defensive move was when a low fly ball went straight toward pitcher Adam Moore, and he could easily have reacted by ducking, but instead handled the ball, catching it and making out three in the third inning.

Another fine pairing was the combination of third baseman David Moore and first baseman Bryan Little.

It seemed as though the majority of the batters eventually hit a ground ball right into the glove of Moore.

The teams of Greenville Academy will be off next week, as spring break takes its toll on many schools

schedules.
