Eagles victorious in Lowndes County

The Fort Dale Academy Eagles and Lady Eagles went to Lowndes Academy on Tuesday night, to face the Rebels. When it was time to come home, both the girls' and boys' teams had won.
The Lady Eagles pulled out a big victory Tuesday night, defeating fourth ranked Lowndes Academy by a score of 50-33.
The Lady Eagles improved their record to 9 and 6 the win.
This match was only the second loss of the season for the Lady Rebels.
Meredith Mosely led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 21 points, and 11 rebounds; Ashley Paulk made nine points.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Meadowview on Friday, and Saturday they will be at Huntington College in Montgomery to play against Faith Academy. The Saturday game time is 12 noon.
The Fort Dale Eagles improved their record to 10 and 5 on Tuesday night by defeating the Lowndes Academy Rebels 69-56.
Bill Cates led the Eagles with 20 points, followed by Josh Till with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Adam Crenshaw added 12 assists.
The boys will also be at Meadowview on Friday night, and Huntington College to face Faith Academy on Saturday. Their game time Saturday is 1:30 p.m.
