School#039;s back in session, so is basketball

Now that schools have opened back up following the winter recess, basketball season will take back up, headed down the hill toward the end of the season.

On Saturday, the Fort Dale Eagles will be at home after traveling to Hooper Academy the night before, as they host Mobile Christian Academy, with the tip-off at 2 p.m.

Then on Jan. 9, they will be on the road as they travel to Lowndes Academy to face the Rebels.

The Greenville Academy Tornados will host Edgewood Academy on Jan. 9 and Lowndes Academy on Jan. 12.

Greenville High School will be on the road Jan 9 as the face Prattville, and then come home to host Wilcox on Jan. 12.

As of January 4, 2001, the Fort Dale Eagles were ranked in tenth place, on the Alabama Sports Writers' Association (ASWA) top-ten poll of the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) teams.
